The views are how many times that specific page has been viewed by yourself and others, the point system is a little harder to explain. You see the point system has two parts your user score and your blog score. Your user points can be viewed by clicking on your username and that is the total amount of points you earn my posting, replying, receiving replies from other users for a blog you have posted etc. The blog points, I believe, are given to your blog site for each individual reply for the articles within your blog site. People can also rate your article or reply insightful which also gives you additional points. Then there are some users that can award higher point values for certain articles.
