As far as public do you mean within joeuser forums?  If you do then you have already done that with this post...

Left you some points to get you started. Good luck, I'll be watchin' for you!

No, I mean, like, on the main page, do you do a special thing for that?

Those are specially selected articles that are merited special recognition for their content.  Write a lot of good articles and they will be placed on there...

Oh, ok. While I'm here, I'd like to ask another stupid newbie question.

I'm looking at my blog, and I see, around the top, a gray bar saying "Page Views". Next to it are several stats. Could you translate them?

Home: 14
(How did I get a score of 14, and what IS "Home"?)
Selected: 2
(Basically the same question as "Home")
Channel: 0
(Once again, the same question)
(Wow, the same question! Again!)
Points: 3
(How do I earn such "Points" and what are they for?)

The views are how many times that specific page has been viewed by yourself and others, the point system is a little harder to explain.  You see the point system has two parts your user score and your blog score.  Your user points can be viewed by clicking on your username and that is the total amount of points you earn my posting, replying, receiving replies from other users for a blog you have posted etc.  The blog points, I believe, are given to your blog site for each individual reply for the articles within your blog site.  People can also rate your article or reply insightful which also gives you additional points.  Then there are some users that can award higher point values for certain articles.  Whew anyways I hope that somehow helps...

Alright, but what is "Channel"? And how about "Selected"?

Your guess is as good as mine, I never really found out what those two are for but you might want to go into the help blogs run by T-man.  They are at the top of the blogging section of the forum...
